SRC 017: Blood Ties (2009)

If you ever wanted to see a regional theater version of the Scooby Doo gang do a guest spot on  the most violent CSI episode ever, this might be the cinematic turd for you.

Blood Ties deals with a group of graduate students at a fictional university who set out to solve a 20 year old mystery, only to find themselves victims in a student film version of Eli Roth's Hostel.



This disaster is currently available for streaming on Netflix if you'd really like to see the Scooby gang get hacked to pieces, but as always, you're probably better off just listening to us.

Our special guest this time out is Bret Beaudry, who plays the lead character of Zack in this cinematic turd.  With only one other IMDB credit to his name, Bret now spends the greater part of his day 'acting' as a waiter at your local Denny's.
