SRC 051: Blood Lake: Attack Of The Killer Lampreys (2014)

When your poorly rendered CGI creature flick delivers more information about the creatures than it does being able to scare your audience, you know you've hickied your way into the Restroom...

BLOOD LAKE: ATTACK OF THE KILLER LAMPREYS deals with a Michigan lake chock full of some very angry eels with a thirst for blood as they chomp their way through every waterway in a small town in an effort to escape into larger bodies of water.  Shannon Doherty headlines a cast that looks like they'd rather be getting their oil changed than having to slog through this Animal Planet mess.

This blood sucking eel nonsense is available for streaming on Netflix and VUDU, but as always you're better off keeping your water taps off and leaving this squirming CGI turd to the Steve Irwins of the Restroom.

Freelance journalist and author Talia Soghomonian (SRC 049) joins us once again for the assist with this flushing. Her articles have appeared in such publications as Rolling Stone magazine, In Style, and The New York Times.

Our special guest this time out is the director of BLOOD LAKE: ATTACK OF THE KILLER LAMPREYS, James Cullen Bressack. His past credits include 13-13-13, TO JENNIFER, and the festival favorite, HATE CRIME. This prolific director has no less than seven films scheduled for release next year.

Sit back now and give a listen as Nat, Rilla, & Knight flush you down the Cinematic Bowl with, BLOOD LAKE: ATTACK OF THE KILLER LAMPREYS...
