GETAWAY deals with Ethan Hawke as a former race car driver (ala Thomas Jane in DRIVE HARD) who's forced to drive through a series of criminal hoops for an Euro-trash voiced villain (Jon Voight) who's holding his wife hostage. Selena Gomez joins the endless chase as an initially unwilling accomplice. What follows are a LOT of boring car chases, obvious dialogue, and the worst police force in greater Bulgaria.
This drive-you-mad mess is available for streaming on Amazon, VUDU, and YouTube, but as always, you're better off leaving this stunt driving school to us and watching one (or all) of the FAST AND THE FURIOUS films again instead.
